What’s in your snake cage?

Snake Cage

Sheila and Monty want to know what’s in your snake cage?

Right now we’ve got substrate, a water bowl, driftwood, and a half log hide, and another water bowl turned upside down for a hide.

What’s in your snake cage?

I have a corn snake in a 20 gallon tank, with a water bowl (big enough for her to submerge her entire body if needed to help shed skin), a hiding log, a hanging plant that cascades over the flooring for her to hide, climb, and entwine herself in, another plant beside the water bowl that has a suction cup to stick to the glass wall and helps her manage getting a drink of water, and lastly i have a plant ( all fake ) in the middle of her terrarium on a piece of driftwood. I use aspen bedding for her as it enables her to burrow, yet does not harm her ( it’s non toxic). I have a humidity gauge and a thermometer. I have a thermometer on both sides of her cage, that way i can tell the temp at night and during the day. I use a day light and a red night light that i put on the top of her screen so she can regulate her body temp.
