Sully’s all wet

Chameleons normally don’t drink from still water - so you have to mist them several times a day to make sure they stay hydrated.

When we mist the chameleons sometimes they get mad and puff up, but sometimes they’ll sit there with their mouth open, and just let us spray water in their mouths.

Skye likes to drink from the corner of her cage, so we’ll spray the corner, and she’ll crawl up her branch until she’s close enough so that she can drink comfortably.

The chameleons will also lap up drops of water from the leaves in the cage.

It’s so neat to see their big tongues lapping up the drop of water.
