Toads Play With Their Food Too

Kids aren’t the only ones that play with their food.

Jeff was watching the fire bellied toads we are watching after he fed them the other day.

One of the toads grabbed a cricket, chewed it up for a minute then spat it out.

The cricket didn’t move, so the toad jumped on it, then when the cricket tried to jump away the toad ate it.

Ahh, the cruel, cruel world.

Do your pets play with their food?

Monty the ball python ripped the head off of one of his frozen and thawed rats one day when we had company watching him eat, but normally the pets just eat their food.
